Yuki's strategy relies on activating Inspiration effects on all her cards each turn, which requires constantly drawing and discarding cards. Natural card draw alone isn't sufficient.

Nia's Role:

  • Quickly searches through the deck to find key cards
  • Discards unwanted Inspiration cards from your starting hand, then retrieves them later to ensure everything triggers properly
  • Provides healing for survival

Cassius's Role:

  • Uses Shuffle to discard poor starting hands and draw fresh cards with Inspiration automatically active
  • Offers strong card draw through multiple abilities
  • Can fetch specific cards while activating their Inspiration effects immediately

Both characters solve Yuki's core problem: ensuring her Inspiration effects trigger consistently every turn through efficient deck cycling and hand manipulation.

CharacterExplanation
Veronica CZN
Veronica
Veronica excels at providing extremely AP-efficient card draw that simultaneously finds Yuki's key cards and activates their Inspiration effects, all while leaving plenty of resources available for Yuki to actually use her combo.

Rei
Rei takes a different approach by offering free card draw that's particularly useful for early game setup, but her main strength lies in dramatically amplifying Yuki's damage through powerful buffs when her deck is tailored to support Yuki.

Playstyle Tips and Strategy/How to Play

Yuki's whole kit is built around triggering Inspiration, which activates when she draws cards outside of the normal turn draw. Because of this, she works best in teams that give her extra card draw or hand manipulation, characters like Veronica, Nia, or Cassius help her keep her deck moving so she can use Inspiration every turn. In her ideal setup, Yuki plays almost every Attack card she gets, making her turns feel fast and explosive without needing much AP support.

Yuki becomes much weaker in modes where you don’t have a prepared deck. Early Chaos or Zero System runs can be rough because cheap, reliable draw isn’t always available. If she can’t trigger Inspiration, many of her cards lose power, and she falls behind other DPS units. High-tier Chaos also forces players to prioritize survival over utility, which often means less card draw and a tougher time keeping Inspiration active.

Most of these problems go away once you unlock Epiphanies, get the right equipment, or have a few lucky card dupes. In Save Data modes, where your deck is already strong, she performs great and can safely run double card-draw supports without risking your team.

Yuki’s playstyle is simple: draw cards, trigger Inspiration, and spam strong AoE attacks. She’s fun and fast to play, but she needs the right deck and teammates to reach her full potential.
