How to Play Nine in Chaos Zero Nightmare

Nine’s gameplay is all about leveling up her Hew skill to deal huge damage. On turn 1, play Counterblade I to build Honed Edge stacks whenever cards are exhausted. Then use Fighting Spirit to activate Hew for only 1 AP instead of 3, which exhausts it and creates the next, stronger level.

Use Fatal Strike to help exhaust higher-level Hews faster so you can level them up quickly. Before using Hew, play Experienced Strike to give it a 30% damage boost. By repeating this process, you can cycle through all 6 levels of Hew and reach the final Lv. 5 version.

For the “One Hew Wonder” strategy, keep Hew in your hand and let it exhaust naturally at the end of each turn while you stack buffs from allies and Vulnerability effects. After several turns, use the fully leveled Hew with all buffs active to deal a massive finishing hit. The main goal is to keep using Fighting Spirit to cycle Hew efficiently, build stacks with Counterblade I, and unleash your strongest attack at the perfect moment.
