Best Team Compositions
| Position | Character |
| Main DPS | ![]() Rin |
| Sub DPS | ![]() Rei |
| Support | ![]() Veronica |
Rin's optimal strategy revolves around repeatedly playing Annihilation and Black Dance by using Destruction copies to return them to her hand. Since she's a damage-focused character who benefits from Dark Cloud Stance, you'll want teammates who primarily use skill or upgrade cards rather than attack cards to keep her stance active.
What Rin Needs:
- Card draw and cycling
- Damage enhancement effects
Rei is an ideal support choice who covers both of Rin's requirements. She provides card draw through Snack Time and offers multiple damage buffs (void, basic, and morale types).
Veronica excels at deck cycling, helping you access Rin's key cards faster. Her Ballista cards also contribute Extra Attack damage without interfering with Rin's stance.

Playstyle Tips and Strategy/How to Play

Rin's gameplay centers around maintaining her Dark Mist Stance, which she activates through certain cards. This stance powers up most of her abilities with bonus effects, extra damage, more hits, better AP usage, and self-buffs. The key to playing her well is staying in this stance and stringing together attacks continuously.
However, there's a catch; her stance deactivates whenever a teammate uses an Attack card. This limits your team-building options significantly. You can work around this by pairing her with characters who deal damage passively (like Veronica's Ballistas) or primarily use Skill/Upgrade cards instead of Attack cards.
Playing Rin Effectively:
Unlock Her 3-1 Potential Early. This upgrade significantly improves stance management. Having both Basic Attack cards trigger Dark Mist Stance makes it much easier to keep your damage flowing consistently.
Keep Dark Mist Stance Active. This buff is exclusive to Rin and unlocks bonus effects on her Dark Mist Blade Art cards, typically more damage and additional hit counts. Since any teammate's Attack card immediately cancels this stance, it's best to run Rin as your sole damage dealer with support characters who avoid Attack cards.
When built and played correctly, Rin delivers solid, reliable single-target damage every turn. She won't hit the absolute highest damage peaks compared to some characters, but her consistency is her strength.
